We are pleased to partner with Outpost and be the first to appear in their food series, where they will be exploring Indonesia in the scope of produce and cuisine.
Indonesia has over 14,000 islands with amazing local flare and fare. Come meet the next generation of food explorers following in Anthony Bourdain’s footsteps to showcase the lesser-known cuisines and ethnic groups of this country. Crystal Chiu, chef and founder of Asli Food Project, who most recently worked at Room4Dessert in Ubud, has spent the past year exploring regions of Indonesia overlooked by foreigners and Indonesians alike. Armed with stories and culinary tales, come listen to Crystal reveal her experiences uncovering the regional gems of Indonesia in food and culture.

Outpost grew out of cofounders David Abraham and Bryan Stewart’s vision that technology was about to empower millions to have a larger say in how people live their lives. They saw people breaking out of the stereotypical work/life grind, choosing to live in idyllic locales, and seeking a life of adventure, connection, and experiences that make a difference.
They built Outpost for them, a productive coworking/coliving oasis to enable budding independent location professionals to grow their careers and businesses. There are currently two locations in Bali—Ubud and Canggu—and a pop-up location in Cambodia.
